Chris Tabb is often described as a comic who “appears in control and out of control at the same time” when he
is on stage. However, he is mostly described as on the verge, next or just very, very, funny. One
look at his seemingly endless energy, wit and stage presence proves that he is ready to take on any stage
or arena without fear. His act quickly switches between observational, physical and theatrical, which keeps
all audiences “in stitches and entertained.”
One club owner says, "Chris Tabb is getting so good so fast
that I just try to get him in my club often enough to take credit when he becomes a big star." In a short
time he has compiled an impressive list of credits, which include being a semifinalist in the Boston Comedy
Festival. His work hosting music concerts for crowds of all ages has been incredible, working with Chaka
Kahn, Genuine, Ashford & Simpson, Ne-Yo and even Stephanie Mills. His national television debut on
BET's ComicView is one of the producer’s favorites and said that “Chris brought a fresh and funny
perspective to the long running cable hit."
Chris is the host of his own Boston Comcast cable talk show
“The Chris Tabb Show”; he is a favorite to be a part of events in his Boston community. He always takes
this spirit with him when he travels nationally as a regular featured act with mega star Mo’ Nique.
Whether he’s in front of three thousand in a packed theater, TV studio or in a high school auditorium he
gives 150% of his hilarious energy, appropriately adjusting his material to “fit the room.” He plans to "ride
this comedy thing out and go as far it takes" him. From what we can see, that would be all the way to the
top!
